Respect and Empathy

Respect for Organisational Identity

Mandatory School Rules.

Item	Description
Uniform	We will wear the prescribed school uniform with pride and modification to the uniform is strictly not allowed. We must not fold the sleeves of the uniform. We do not wear T-shirts underneath our uniform. BOYS - We tuck our shirt to reveal the trousers pockets in full Shirts must be properly buttoned and tucked. - Trousers must be of appropriate length and not be tight. - We do not fold the sleeves of shirts or hemlines of trousers. Girls Blouses must be properly buttoned and hang out. Skirts should fall at or below the knee.
Shoes and socks	Our shoes must be low-cut with shoelaces. The shoe surfaces must be predominantly black, grey, dark blue or white. Our shoes must not have luminous or flashy colours. Our shoe designs, if any, must not be offensive. We wear plain black, grey, dark blue or white socks that can be seen above the shoe collar. Socks with single monotone logo are allowed.
Personal Grooming	Our hair must always be kept neat and tidy in appropriate hairstyles, with fringe not covering the eyebrows. Inappropriate hairstyles include but not limited to undercut and layered. * We do not dye, tint, bleach, highlight or perm our hair. * Our fingernails must be kept short, clean without nail polish / decoration. * We do not wear make-up, jewellery, accessories (e.g. friendship band, wristband and energy band). * We do not wear spectacle / contact lenses with colour and patterns on them. Smart glasses are not allowed in school. * Body art (including Henna and tattoo) is strictly not allowed. * Religious ornaments must be worn discreetly / covered up. Boys * We must be clean shaven and neat in appearance. Keeping of moustache, beard or goatee is not allowed. * Our hair should be short and neat with a slope at the back. It should not touch our ears and the shirt collar. * Sideburns should not exceed half the ear length. * Body/facial piercings and ear accessories are strictly prohibited. Girls * We will tie up our hair if it touches our shoulder. * We pin up our loose side hair and fringe neatly. * Only black / dark blue / orange / white hair clips, ribbons, hair-bands are allowed. * We only wear one identical pair of small, inexpensive and plain ear studs no bigger than 0.3 cm in diameter, at the lowest part of our earlobes, with no other forms of body/facial piercings.
