Safe and Responsible use of Personal Learning Device(PLD)
In Greenridge, we believe in developing our students to be future-ready as learners and as leaders. To ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all students, students are expected to abide by the school’s code of conduct which includes but is not limited to the following:
General Guidelines and User Ethics
A personal learning device (PLD) refers to any smart device including personal laptops, tablets that are owned by students or on loan from the school’s ICT department.

Device (exclude PLD and calculator) not kept in locker

Daily safekeeping of device by the school authorities for 7 days

Barred from bringing device to school for 2 weeks

Barred from bringing device to school for 1 month

Unauthorised use of device

Barred from bringing device to school for up to 3 months depending on seriousness and frequency of unauthorised use.

If student is found with barred device during the debarment period, school will either send student home with the barred device or confiscate the device for the outstanding period of debarment. !!Confiscated items are to be collected only by parents. | |||
