Information sheet on MOE eGIRO for Student Bills
(1) From 5 Dec 2022, MOE has launched a new MOE eGIRO page (https://www.moe.gov.sg/financial-matters/fees/egiro (opens in new tab)) for parents to sign up for GIRO online to pay for their children’s student bills.
This service is not for setting up GIRO arrangement for Vendor Bills or MOE Kindergarten Bills.
This service is only meant for students studying in Government and Government-Aided Schools.
(2) The page is also accessible through the “Services” tab in Parents Gateway app – “GIRO Setup”.
(3) This MOE eGIRO service is currently available to account holders with the following banks: BOC, DBS/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, SCB and UOB.
Though applications with ICBC bank accounts can be submitted through the portal, they cannot be processed by school’s billing system due to system limitations. Parents are advised to use non-ICBC bank accounts as listed above if they want to set up GIRO with MOE.
