Set up GIRO online to pay your child's student bills at Government and Government-Aided Schools. Available for account holders with BOC, DBS/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, SCB, and UOB.

Information sheet on MOE eGIRO for Student Bills

(1) From 5 Dec 2022, MOE has launched a new MOE eGIRO page (https://www.moe.gov.sg/financial-matters/fees/egiro (opens in new tab)) for parents to sign up for GIRO online to pay for their children’s student bills.

  • This service is not for setting up GIRO arrangement for Vendor Bills or MOE Kindergarten Bills.

  • This service is only meant for students studying in Government and Government-Aided Schools.

(2) The page is also accessible through the “Services” tab in Parents Gateway app – “GIRO Setup”.

(3) This MOE eGIRO service is currently available to account holders with the following banks: BOC, DBS/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, SCB and UOB.

  • Though applications with ICBC bank accounts can be submitted through the portal, they cannot be processed by school’s billing system due to system limitations. Parents are advised to use non-ICBC bank accounts as listed above if they want to set up GIRO with MOE.
